Community Events with Purpose
We actively participate in YMCA fundraising events that bring the community together for a greater cause:
- Annual Cornhole Tournament – Raising funds to support teen development programs
- Golf Tournament – Benefiting youth programming across Palm Beach County
- Inspiration Breakfast – Helping fund critical initiatives like free swim lessons, youth sports, and wellness programs for families in need
These events help ensure that every child, teen, and adult has access to the resources they need to grow and thrive — regardless of their financial situation.
Investing in Future Leaders
Every summer, we help sponsor and chaperone a delegation of teens to a values-based leadership conference the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in North Carolina. This powerful experience promotes character development, confidence, and a lifelong sense of responsibility. Watching these young people grow into compassionate and driven leaders is one of the most rewarding parts of our work with the YMCA.
Personal Commitment
Serving on the YMCA Board of Directors, Pamela Porter donates a significant amount of my time to furthering their mission. At its core, the YMCA is for everyone. It fosters a spirit of inclusion, ensuring that all individuals — regardless of background — are welcomed and supported.
